Tawa Masala Paneer Burger is a popular urban snack burger recipe, as it is one of the easiest and quick snack recipe. Since it is filled with cottage cheese, it can be served as a lunch or dinner meal. whenever you are short of time. Instructions for how to make Tawa Masala Paneer Burger:
- Firstly, heat 1 tsp oil and 1tbsp butter in a tawa/ pan. Then splutter 1 tsp cumin seeds and roast 1 tsp finely chopped garlic. Next, add 2 chopped onion and sauté well.
- Then add 1 tsp ginger paste or grated ginger and 1/2 finely chopped capsicum/ green bell pepper to it. Sauté for couple of minutes.
- Then add 2 chopped tomatoes and salt to taste. Sauté until tomatoes turn soft and mushy.
- Now add spices- 1/3 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp grounded black pepper, 1/4 tsp dried mango powder (Amchur) and 1 tsp coriander powder to it.
- Mix well making sure all the spices are well combined. Then add 2 tbsp sweet corn to it.
- Now add 200 gm small paneer cubes and mix without breaking them.
- Add 2 tbsp tomato sauce and 1 tsp red chili sauce to it.
- Finally, add 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh green coriander and 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese (pizza cheese) to it.
- Mix them well. Turn off the flame and masala paneer stuffing is ready. Transfer it to the bowl.
- To prepare the burger, slice the burger bun.
- Spread 2 tbsp of prepared paneer masala mixture on one side of the bun. On the other half of burger bun spread 1 tsp green chutney. Close the bun and press gently.
- Now heat 1/2 tsp butter and 1/2 tsp finely chopped coriander to toast each burger bun.
- Toast the burger bun from both the sides.
- Hot and yummy Paneer Masala Burger are ready to serve. Enjoy!

Tips:
- Instead of Amchur and coriander powder, you can add Pav Bhaji Masala.
- You can add vegetables of your choice to make it nutritious like carrot, green peas etc.
- In place of adding Mozzarella Cheese, place a slice of cheese in the burger.
- You can prepare the stuffing before in hand and prepare the burger just before serving.
- Paneer Masala burger tastes great when prepared little spicy and served hot.
