Rava Kesari is a traditional Indian sweet/ dessert, prepared in all over India, with slight changes. However Kesari bath is the main dish in Karnataka cuisine, where it is served for breakfast with Upma. In North India, similar kind of dessert is prepared with almost same ingredients known as 'Sooji Ka Halwa', but it is cooked in a slightly different way and has all the flavors of Ghee only, neither saffron nor cardamom powder added to that. I have already shared Sooji Ka Halwa Recipe. You can also check out other traditional Indian desserts in Indian Sweets and Desserts Collection like Gajar ka Halwa Recipe, Mango Halwa Recipe, Meethi Seviyan Recipe, Rice Kheer Recipe , Zarda Rice Recipe and many more.
