Cucumber Raita is a healthy recipe prepared with fresh curd, cucumbers, black salt, black pepper, mint , roasted cumin powder and coriander leaves. As I have mentioned earlier cucumbers have many health benefits and it is the easiest way to add the cucumbers in our diet. This raita is so refreshing and my favourite. You can make this raita during fasting days also as it prevents your body to get dehydrated, you just need to replace salt and black salt with Sendha namak (salt). So, this recipe is one of the best recipe to beat the heat.

Instructions for how to make Cucumber Raita:
- Take a mixing bowl and add curd to it. Whisk the curd to make a smooth silky consistency of curd. You can use electronic mixer/blender or hand whisk to whisk it.
- Add the grated cucumber to it.
- Add all the spices - salt, black salt, grounded black pepper, roasted cumin powder and mint powder to it. Add chopped coriander leaves to it.
- Mix all the ingredients well.
- Cucumber raita is ready to serve. Enjoy it with food.

Tips:
- Always use thick curd to make cucumber raita.
- Don't squeeze cucumber's water. Some persons squeeze cucumber's water but I didn't squeeze it because of nutritional reasons.
