Masala Pav is one of the most popular street food of Maharashtra. As we all know Street Food is the most liked food in India, whether it is Pav Bhaji or Vada Pav all have their unique taste.

1. Ingredients Preview.
2. Firstly, heat 2 tsp butter on tawa. Add 1 finely chopped onion to it and sauté well.
3. Then add finely chopped 1/4th capsicum, 1 green chili and 1 tsp ginger paste. You can use finely chopped or grated ginger also. Continue to sauté.
4. Add 1 finely chopped tomato and salt to taste to it.
5. Cook till tomatoes turn soft.
6. Add 1/2 tsp red chili powder and 1.5 tsp Pav Bhaji Masala to it. I have used Kashmiri Red chili powder.
7. Add 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves and mix them well.
8. Add little water (1 tbsp) & squeeze 1/2 lemon to it.
9. Mix them well & cook the masala really well.
10. Take 2 pav together and cut into half as shown in picture.
11. Scrape the masala to one side of tawa and spread generous amount of prepared masala on both sides of the pav.
12. Masala Pav is ready to serve. Enjoy the masala pav hot with chopped onions.
Tips:
- Always use fresh pav for this recipe, otherwise it can break.
- You can use pan also in place of tawa.
- You can add finely chopped garlic also.
- Serve it hot, otherwise pav will become soggy.
