Instructions for how to make Kaju Corn Mithai:

  1. Firstly, heat a pan and add 2 tsp ghee to it. Then add condensed milk to it.
  2. Bring a boil to condensed milk.
  3. Then add milk powder and Kaju/ Cashew Powder to it.
  4. Mix them well continuously till it starts releasing from pan and it turns to dough .
  5. Switch off the flame and transfer the cashew dough on to the cling wrap/ butter paper.
  6. Divide the dough into two portions of ratio 1:3.
  7. In the bigger portion (3/4th part of dough) add yellow food colour and in the smaller portion (1/4th part of dough) add green food colour.
  8. Mix them well with greased hands and make a smooth dough.
  9. Take a small lemon sized dough from yellow coloured dough and roll in your hands to give it a shape of corn.
  10. Likewise, prepare all the corns with yellow dough.
  11. Now, take a very small portion from green dough, roll in your hands and then gently press it with your finger to give it leaf shape.
  12. For 1 corn take 3 green leaves and join them from bottom as shown in the picture. Likewise, prepare all leaves.
  13. Join the corn with the leaves from the bottom and it is done. Likewise, prepare all the corns.
  14. Kaju Corn Mithai is ready to serve. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • Use fine powder of Cashew nuts.
  • Use nonstick pan for preparing this sweet recipe.
  • Do not over knead the prepared dough, as cashews will start releasing oil.
