Boondi Masala can be prepared with homemade boondi as well as with the packed boondi got from market. For homemade boondi you can checkout my link How to make boondi at home.

Instructions for how to make Boondi Masala:
- Heat a pan/wok. Add oil and cumin seeds (Jeera) to it.
- Add chopped onion to it and saute it till translucent.
- Add chopped tomatoes to it.
- Add finely chopped ginger and green chilies.
- Add salt to it.
- Cover and cook it for 5 mins. on low to medium flame.
- Cook till tomatoes soft and mushy.
- Add turmeric powder and Kashmiri red chili powder to it.
- Add coriander powder and garam masala to it.
- Soak the boondi in water for 30 secs. and then drain off the water.
- Add boondi and chopped fresh green coriander leaves.
- Mix them gently. Otherwise, boondi got mashy.
- Boondi Masala is ready to serve. Serve it with chapati or Parantha.
