Today I am very excited to share the recipe of Domino's style Zingy Parcel with you all! It has been prepared in a more healthy way as I have used Wheat flour in place of All purpose flour. Soft and light homemade bread rolls stuffed with zingy paneer filling. These parcels have a beautiful golden crust on outside but pillowy soft inside. These can be served as an appetizer for your future get together's or house parties. You can make them in advance and store in refrigerator for upto two days. I have shared both the ways to prepare in wok/vessel or in oven. Here is the recipe with step by step instructions, pictures and tips.
1. Ingredients Preview.
2. For Filling, firstly, heat a pan and add butter to it.
3. Add finely chopped garlic to it.
4. Add finely chopped onion to it and cook till translucent.
5. After that add green and red bell pepper to it.
6. Mix them well and saute for 2 mins.
7. Then add finely chopped tomatoes to it. Remove the seeds from tomato. Cook it till tomatoes become soft.
8. Add salt and Italian seasoning to it. You can use oregano also in place of Italian seasoning.
9. Add grounded black pepper and chili flakes to it.
10. Add tomato ketchup to it and mix it well.
11. Finally, add small cubes of Paneer to it.
12. Mix it well and saute for 2 more minutes. Filling is ready and set it aside for cooling.
13. For preparing its sauce, add mayonnaise and tomato ketchup in a small mixing bowl and mix them well. You can use Pizza/ Pasta sauce also instead of tomato ketchup.
14. For Dough, In a large mixing bowl add wheat flour and maida.
15. Add powdered sugar and baking soda to it.
16. Add baking powder and salt to it.
17. Mix them well.
18. Add curd to it and bind the soft dough.
19. Add oil to it and knead it for 7-8 mins to make a smooth dough.
20. Soft and smooth dough is ready.
21. Divide the dough into two equal parts.
22. Take one part and make a long log and cut into 4 equal parts.
23. Roll them with your hands and make balls. Likewise, prepare another log and then four more balls.
24. Dust some maize flour on the rolling board. Take one ball and make a flat disc.
25. Fold it from three sides to make a triangular shape.
26. Spread the prepared sauce and prepared filling in the center of triangle.
27. To give it the shape of Zingy parcel, take two corners and join them. Then take third corner and join with them. Press them at the center. It is very important step otherwise it opens at the time of baking.
28. Take milk and sugar in a cup and mix them well. Apply this milk on the zingy parcels.
29. Prepare the vessel/wok by adding salt at the base and set the stand over it. Preheat it for 10 mins at medium to high flame or Preheat oven for 10 mins. @ 180 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
30. Place parcels on the greased plate or place butter paper for oven.
31. Bake them in a preheated wok for 25-30 mins. If you are using oven/microwave convention then bake them for 20-25 mins.
32. Parcels are baked properly.
33. Apply butter on parcels with brush or spoon.
34. Cover them with wet cloth for 5 mins. Zingy Parcel is ready to serve.
35. Enjoy the healthy and yummy Zingy Parcel with Tomato Ketchup.
