Tawa Paneer Masala Burger is a burger stuffed with paneer masala, which is prepared with capsicum/bell pepper, onions, tomatoes and paneer cubes cooked on tawa or a griddle. It is an easy, simple and delicious street style burger recipe, which has unique flavour. It can be served as a snack or even as a lunch or dinner meal. Ingredients for Paneer Masala Stuffing:
 200 g Paneer/ Cottage CheeseSmall cubes
 1 tsp Oil
 1 tbsp Butter
 1 tsp Ginger Paste or Grated Ginger
 2 Garlic clovesFinely Chopped
 2 Onion (medium-sized)Chopped
 ½ Capsicum/ Green Bell PepperFinely Chopped
 2 TomatoFinely Chopped
 2 tbsp Sweet Corn Kernels
 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  tsp Turmeric Powder/ Haldi
 ½ tsp Red Chili Powder
 ½ tsp Grounded Black Pepper
 ¼ tsp Dried Mango Powder/ Amchur
 1 tsp Coriander Powder
 or Salt to taste
 2 tbsp Fresh Green CorianderFinely Chopped
 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
 1 tsp Red Chili SauceOptional
 ¼ cup Mozzarella Cheese Optional

 6 Burger Buns
 3 tsp Butter
 3 tsp Fresh Green CorianderFinely Chopped

Directions for preparing Tawa Masala Paneer Burger with step by step Photos:

1. Firstly, heat 1 tsp oil and 1tbsp butter in a tawa/ pan. Then splutter 1 tsp cumin seeds and roast 1 tsp finely chopped garlic. Next, add 2 chopped onion and sauté well.

2. Then add 1 tsp ginger paste or grated ginger and 1/2 finely chopped capsicum/ green bell pepper to it.

3. Sauté for couple of minutes.

4. Then add 2 chopped tomatoes and salt to taste. Sauté until tomatoes turn soft and mushy.

5. Now add spices- 1/3 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp grounded black pepper, 1/4 tsp dried mango powder (Amchur) and 1 tsp coriander powder to it. You can also add 1 tsp Pav Bhaji masala.

6. Mix well making sure all the spices are well combined.

7. Then add 2tbsp sweet corn to it.

8. Now add 200 gm small paneer cubes and mix without breaking them.

9. Add 2 tbsp tomato sauce and 1 tsp red chili sauce to it. Mix well, make sure the sauces are well combined.

10. Finally, add 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh green coriander and 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese (pizza cheese) to it.

11. Mix them well. Turn off the flame and masala paneer stuffing is ready. Transfer it to the bowl.

12. To prepare the burger, slice the burger bun.

13. Spread 2 tbsp of prepared paneer masala mixture on one side of the bun. On the other half of burger bun spread 1 tsp green chutney. Close the bun and press gently.

14. Now heat 1/2 tsp butter and 1/2 tsp finely chopped coriander to toast each burger bun.
