These Granola bars are delicious and easy to make with basic ingredients like rolled oats, nuts, seeds, dates and honey. This recipe even doesn't any baking. These granola bars can be served as a quick breakfast, and they make a perfect snack. These bars can be packed for road trips and flights, and are very healthy for kids too. They’re a big hit for all ages. Here is the recipe with some tips and step by step instructions and pictures.
1. Firstly, take 1 cup pitted dates in a grinder jar and grind them to make a sticky paste.
2. Heat a pan and add 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds and 1/2 cup sunflower seeds to it.
3. Dry roast them for 3-4 minutes on low flame and take out in a plate.
4. Then in the same pan, dry roast 1/2 cup chopped almonds, 1/2 cup chopped cashew nuts and 1/3 cup chopped walnuts.
5. Take them also out in a plate.
6. Next, dry roast oats in the same pan for 3-4 minutes.
7. Transfer the roasted oats in a large mixing bowl and let them cool.
8. Then add roasted seeds and nuts to the bowl and mix them well with the oats.
9. Now, add 1/4 cup dried cranberries to it and mix well.
10. Add ground dates and 1/2 cup honey to it.
11. Mix them to combine all the ingredients really well and make a sticky mixture.
12. Pour this mixture to a parchment paper lined tray.
13. Spread, press and flatten the mixture to set a slab. On top of it sprinkle some pumpkin seeds and dried cranberries.
14. Take a little piece of foil paper and press them as shown in the picture.
15. Now, refrigerate for at-least one hour to set.
16. Demold the slab and cut into bars or squares as per your preference.
17. Easy No-bake Granola Energy Bars are ready. Store them in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks and keep refrigerated and enjoy!
