Aloo Raita prepared with boiled potatoes is very common but when you fry it with spices then it enhances the taste. It is basically served with pranthas, briyani, pulao etc. As this is very chatpata raita you must try this recipe. Follow this recipe with step by step instructions and photos.

 1.50 cups Curd/yogurt
 1 cup Boiled PotatoesChopped into cubes
 ¼ tsp Black Salt
 ¼ tsp Black Pepper
 ¼ tsp Red chili powder
 ½ tsp Roasted cumin powder
 ½ tsp Mint powderOptionalt
 ¼ tsp Salt(Salt to taste)
 1 tbsp Finely chopped coriander leaves
 ¼ tsp Chaat MasalaOptional

Take a mixing bowl and add curd to it. Whisk the curd to make a smooth silky consistency of curd. You can use electronic mixer/blender or hand whisk to whisk it.

Heat a pan and add one tsp oil in it.

Add boiled potatoes to it.

Stir and fry it for 5 mins or till slightly golden brown as shown in the picture.

Add roasted black pepper, cumin powder and mint powder to the pan.

Then add salt, black salt and red chili powder to it.

Finally, add chopped coriander leaves to it.

Mix all the ingredients well to coat the potatoes with spices.

For serving, add 2 tbsp of beaten curd then add 2 tbsp of fried potatoes in the serving bowl.
