There are many variations in choco chip cookies recipes but this choco chip cookie recipe is a quick and very easy to make and there is no waiting time like keeping the cookie dough in the fridge. This recipe is an eggless version and I have used whole wheat flour or Gehun Ka Atta for making these cookies as that is good for health. You can also make them from all purpose flour. These cookies can be served as a nice sweet breakfast or evening snack for with some warm milk or hot coffee. They can also be served in the lunch box as a sweet side snack for kids. 1. Firstly, take 5 tbsp softened butter in a large mixing bowl and then add 1/2 cup of sugar to it. Make sure butter is soft but not melted state.
2. Whisk them well. The butter and sugar should be creamed together.
3. Add 1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence to it.
4. Add all dry ingredients- 1 cup wheat flour, 1.5 tbsp cocoa powder & 1 baking powder to it.
5. Mix them well with the butter.
6. Add 2-3 tsp milk (@ room temperature) and make a dough. Don't knead much.
7. Take a small portion & make a ball and flatten it by pressing with fingers.
8. Place cookies on the baking tray lined with butter paper & then sprinkle choco chips over the cookies.
9. Bake the cookies in preheated oven at 180°C/350°F for 15 minutes. Do not over-bake the cookies.
10. Allow the cookies to cool completely. Cookies will turn crunchy when cooled.
11. Palatable Whole wheat Choco chip cookies are ready to serve. Enjoy!
