Dry Garlic Chutney recipe is a Maharashtrian recipe made with garlic and coconut. It is an authentic and spicy flavoured chutney powder, sprinkled in the filling of Vada Pav /batata vada. You can even used it for stuffing of paranthas. It acts as a taste enhancer for many dishes like samosa chat, Pakodas or any street chat recipes. Here is the recipe with step by step instructions and pictures.
1. Ingredients Preview.
2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add garlic cloves and saute on low flame until it turns golden brown.
3. Add peanuts to it and saute till peanuts turn crunchy.
4. Add sesame seeds to it.
5. Add Kashmiri Red chili powder and coriander powder to it.
6. Add salt and desiccated coconut to it.
7. Saute it well for 2-3 minutes.
8. Cool it completely and transfer it to the blender/ grinder jar.
9. Blend/grind it to coarse powder without adding water.
10. Dry Garlic Chutney is ready to serve with vada pav/ batata vada.
