Boondi Raita is one of the most easiest recipe. It is served as cooling dip basically made up with curd/yogurt and besan boondi. It can be served with chapati, prantha ,pulao or biryani. It is also good for digestion. Raita can be prepared with different variations. Here I am going to share recipe of Boondi Raita with step by step instructions and pictures with all tips.
Ingredients preview.
Take a mixing bowl and add curd to it. Whisk the curd to make a smooth silky consistency of curd. You can use electronic mixer/blender or hand whisk to whisk it.
Add Black salt to it which enhances its tastes. Instead of black salt you can use regular salt also.
Add roasted cumin powder to it.
Add grounded black pepper and mint powder to it. You can use 4-5 fresh mint leaves finely chopped instead of mint powder.
Mix all the ingredients well.
Add besan boondi to it and mix well.
Boondi raita is ready to serve. Take it in a serving bowl.
At the end, sprinkle some roasted cumin powder, red chili powder and chopped coriander leaves to garnish it and serve it with food.
